My Covenant Partner is Jesus

...It is Christ that died, yes rather, that has risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Romans 8:34

Before a covenant begins to start

Keep in account my own heart,

Obedience is a must

My Life unto God I will trust.

Missing piece is the truth of covenant

A binding agreement that is everlasting.

Personal surrender to God's will,

Freedom to choose You,

Dying to my old self

Putting on Christ.

Christ, please come live in me

Holy Spirit has softened my hard heart,

You paid the price for me

Your blood was traded for my sins.

God's promises unfold

My precious Jesus died on the cross,

For Jesus came to save the world and all who are lost.

Body hacked and spread in two as You bled

So the God could pass between the pieces.

Oh glorious, to be risen again

Now things seem so much clearer-Oh how precious is Your love.

Who holds the missing piece to my heart

Sitting down at the right hand of His Father in heaven above,

I will finally get to go home to my one true love.

This is love: not that we love God, but the He loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1John 4:10
